The philosophy of Noah’s Ark is based on a set of strongly held beliefs:
We believe that each child is a unique individual
. We are sensitive to a child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs, to provide developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning and helping children enjoy successful experiences. We encourage not just learning, but the love of learning.We believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy, and oriented to children. Classrooms are arranged to offer challenging play and learning choices, a range of developmental levels. Activity and allow children the opportunity to explore, to experience, and most importantly to succeed.
We believe that the strength of our program is in the dedication of our teaching staff. We support out teachers with training, resources and freedom to create a unique learning experience for children. We provide many opportunities for teachers to share ideas and grow professionally. Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere and foster each child ’s creativity and positive self-image.
We believe in positive methods of discipline.
We establish consistent age appropriate living to help children function in
their world. Our programs are designed to develop in children a sense of
independence and responsibility.
A desire to strengthen each child’s own cultural identity, while instilling a
respect for others that may be different.
We believe parents are the most significant adult
’s in a child’s life. We strive to create a mutual respect between parents and teacher as a partnership for the benefit of the child. We encourage daily communication between parents and Center staff. Our doors are open at all times and we stress and maintain an open door policy. Noah’s Ark Childcare & Learning Center, LLC. is an organization that values people, the children in our care, their parents, the community, and our employees. We continually work to maintain the trust that has been placed in us. ’ StandardsWe believe that families deserve the best. That’s why we take quality standards serious.
We set and maintain high quality child care standards that are evaluated regularly. It is important to us that our services and educational programs meet the needs of the children and families that we serve. First we set exacting criteria to achieve high quality care standards and we periodically survey families to help us evaluate our success in the following areas:
Professional development for staff
Safety of the facility and playground
Developmentally appropriate program curriculums
Interactions that respect and value each child as an individual
Consistent and effective communication with parents
Ample age appropriate equipment and supplies
Nutrition
Cleanliness
Our child care management team continually monitors these high quality standards and provides ongoing training for our staff to ensure that our standards for quality child care are enforced and maintained.
